I’ll Be Your Mirror is a collection of essays exploring the relationship between humans, technology, and artificial intelligence. Taking its title from Lou Reed’s song, the book approaches technology as a mirror: one that not only reflects reality but reveals what we often fail to see ourselves.

The publication traces the transformation of contemporary visuality—from Vilém Flusser’s technical images and Harun Farocki’s operational images to generative systems that observe, classify, and produce images independently of the human eye.

Bringing together perspectives from art, philosophy, and cultural research, the contributors examine AI as a tool, a partner, an environment, and a new form of agency. Their essays address creativity and autonomy, relationality, ecology, economies of attention, AI slop, power, surveillance, and the political consequences of automation.
